Endurance Automotive was founded in 1974 by Robert Lewis, a man with hometown roots, a vision, and a deep love for both cars and people. With an engineer’s mind and a servant’s heart, Richard built his business on honesty, craftsmanship, and unmatched customer care.

As the years went by, his passion for cars became a family tradition. Richard and his wife raised three children, Rick, Kimberly, and Ann, all of whom grew up surrounded by the sights and sounds of the shop. Rick, the eldest, shared his father’s gift for mechanics and became a master technician after trade school. Kimberly found her niche in business and accounting, combining her education with her natural leadership to help the shop grow and thrive.

After decades of serving the community, Richard began to step back from daily operations, though never too far from the action, and Kimberly took over leadership of the business more than ten years ago. Under her direction, Endurance Automotive continues to honor the legacy her father began: honest work, fair prices, and a genuine commitment to every customer who walks through the door.
